What is ScanTacts?
ScanTacts is a digital business card platform that allows you to create, share, and manage professional contact information through QR codes and custom URLs. It replaces traditional paper business cards with eco-friendly, always-updated digital versions.
How do I create my first digital business card?
  1. Sign up for a free account
  2. Click "Create New Card" from your dashboard
  3. Fill in your contact information and upload a photo
  4. Add your business links (website, calendar, portfolio)
  5. Save and your card is ready to share!
Do recipients need an app to view my card?
No! Recipients don't need any app or account. They simply scan your QR code or visit your card URL with any smartphone browser. They can then save your contact directly to their phone.

Features

What are the multiple QR codes for?
ScanTacts provides multiple QR codes for different purposes:
  • Main Contact QR: Shares your complete digital business card
  • Website QR: Direct link to your company website
  • Product/Service QR: Quick access to product demos or services
  • Calendar QR: Instant meeting booking via Calendly or similar
This allows you to share specific information based on the context.
Can I have multiple business cards?
Yes! You can create unlimited digital business cards with your account. This is perfect for:

  • Different language versions
Can I update my card after sharing it?
Yes! That's one of the main advantages. Any updates you make are instantly reflected when someone views your card. The QR code and URL remain the same, but the information is always current.

Is ScanTacts free to use?
Yes, ScanTacts offers a free plan that includes:

  • All basic features and QR codes
  • Unlimited scans and shares

Premium plans are available for additional features like custom domains and advanced analytics.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, and bank transfers for annual plans. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Privacy & Security

Is my data secure?
Absolutely. We use industry-standard encryption for all data transmission and storage. Your information is stored on secure servers with regular backups. We're fully GDPR compliant and never share your data with third parties without consent.
Can I control who sees my card?
While digital cards are designed to be easily shared, you have control over:
  • Which information to include on each card
  • Ability to deactivate cards at any time
  • Analytics to see who's viewing your card
  • Option to password-protect cards (Premium feature)
How can I delete my account?
You can delete your account at any time from the GDPR Tools section in your dashboard. This will permanently remove all your data, cards, and analytics. You can also export all your data before deletion.

ScanTacts works on all modern devices:

Cards can be saved to home screens as Progressive Web Apps (PWA).
Can I integrate with my CRM?
Premium plans include API access and webhooks for CRM integration. We support direct integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, and Pipedrive. Contact our support team for custom integration needs.
What file formats can I export contacts in?
You can export contacts in:
  • vCard (.vcf) - Compatible with all contact apps
  • CSV - For spreadsheet applications
